Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2026 Slate

| By:
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – With the fall semester complete and the spring semester approaching, the Embry-Riddle women's lacrosse team has announced its 2026 schedule. Led by reigning Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year Christina Nikolai, the Eagles will play a 15-game slate as they look to build on a historic 2025 season.

Embry-Riddle finished last year with a 17-4 record, captured its first Sunshine State Conference championship in program history, and earned its first NCAA Tournament berth, defeating Mount Olive in the opening round.

The Eagles have a roster that features 11 newcomers and 18 returners. Seven of those returners earned All-Conference honors last season, highlighted by Eliana Enners, who led the team with 59 goals and was named First Team All-SSC.

The 2026 campaign includes nine home games at Embry-Riddle Lacrosse Field, with the first of those coming on February 7 when the Eagles start the year against Alabama Huntsville. ERAU also opened last season against the Chargers, coming away with an 18-4 win. This year's matchup will serve as the Salute to Service game for Embry-Riddle.

After a week off, Embry-Riddle will travel to Greenwood, South Carolina, to face Lander for the third time in four seasons. The Eagles have averaged 20 goals per game in the all-time series against the Bearcats.

The Eagles return home on February 21 for a non-conference matchup against Florida Tech. ERAU has won seven straight meetings with the Panthers, including a perfect 3-0 mark last season.

Before beginning a five-game homestand, Embry-Riddle will head to Montevallo for the third consecutive season. The Eagles defeated the Falcons 20-4 in 2024 and followed that up with a 21-4 victory last year.

The homestand begins March 9 when ERAU hosts Anderson for the first time in program history. The Trojans finished 10-8 last season, including an 8-3 mark in the South Atlantic Conference. Three days later, the Eagles welcome Lenoir-Rhyne on March 12. Embry-Riddle defeated the Bears 23-11 last season, highlighted by a five-goal performance from Caitlin Gavin.

On March 18, the Eagles will see Flagler come to town, with ERAU going 2-2 in the past four seasons against the Saints. Later that week, the Hawks from Quincy University (March 21) will make the trip south for their first-ever game against Embry-Riddle.

The Eagles conclude the regular season with seven straight SSC games, beginning March 25 at home against Rollins. Each of the last four meetings between the Eagles and Tars has been decided by one goal, including a double-overtime ERAU win last season.

Embry-Riddle travels to Palm Beach Atlantic on March 28, entering the matchup with a 7-0 all-time record against the Sailfish.

April opens with a home contest against Florida Southern, as the Blue and Gold look for redemption following a 13-8 loss to the Mocs in last season's national tournament. This game will serve as a dedication game to Morgan's Message, which highlights awareness for student-athlete mental health.

ERAU will finish off the regular season with three of their last four games on the road. On April 4, they will face Lynn in Boca Raton, before taking on Florida Tech again in Melbourne on April 8.

The Eagles close out their home slate on Senior Day against Saint Leo on April 11 at 4 p.m. Embry-Riddle earned a 15-11 win over the Lions last season.

The regular season concludes April 15 with a road matchup at Tampa, the reigning national champions. The Spartans went 21-1 last season, with their lone loss coming in a 15-14 defeat to Embry-Riddle.

Following the regular season, the top six teams in the SSC standings will advance to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament. Higher seeds will host all tournament games. Quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, followed by semifinals on Thursday, April 23, and the championship game on Sunday, April 26.

All home games and SSC road contests will be streamed on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network. The full 2026 schedule and coverage information can be found here.
