DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No.11 Embry-Riddle men's tennis team faced a tough match-up against NAIA No. 4 Southeastern University, losing 5-2.
 
Doubles:

• The sole win in the doubles came from Wilson Igbinovia and Mason Cisco as they went toe-to-toe with Alejandro Orihuela and Mark Griffin, ultimately coming out on top 7-6 (7-4).

Singles:

• Alvaro Diaz Rodrigo was the only Eagle to win comfortably as he defeated Orihuela, winning 6-3, 6-1.
• At No. 5, Cisco carried the momentum from his doubles win into singles winning the first set 6-2 but struggled to finish out the second set and lost it 7-5. The tiebreak was back and forth but Cisco managed to remain strong, finding an edge to win 10-8. 

The Eagles return to Sunshine State Conference play on Monday as they take on Lynn at the Crotty Tennis Complex at 2 p.m.
