DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's basketball team suffered a tough loss the final game of the regular season on Saturday. The Eagles struggled to get going offensively, falling to Barry 76-52 on the road.

• The Eagles are ninth in the latest WBCA Coaches' Poll and fifth in the most recent D2 CSC Media Poll.
• The Eagles were just 16-of-57 from the field, which accounts for their lowest field goal percentage (28%) of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
• The Eagles led 4-0 early in the contest.
• The Buccaneers quickly caught up and a back-and-forth battle led to a 10-10 tie at the 1:28 mark.
• Jennings hit a three and a jumper to help the Buccaneers to a 16-10 lead at the end of the first.
Second Quarter
• The Eagles cut the lead to four (18-14) to start the second period, but the Buccaneers went on a 20-4 run to close out the half up 38-18.
Third Quarter
• The Eagles' shooting woes continued in the third as they managed just two points in the first five minutes.
• Barry made nine field goals, four of which were three-pointers, and scored six points off Eagle turnovers to extend the lead to 61-29 heading into the fourth.
Fourth Quarter
• The Eagles outscored the Buccaneers 23-15 in the final 10 minutes.
• Embry-Riddle made 19 trips to the free throw line and converted on 13 of those opportunities, led by
Kailey Turpening who was 6-for-6.
NEXT UP
The Eagles secured a share of the 2024-25 SSC regular season title and will be the No. 1 seed in the eight-team SSC Tournament bracket, which was announced following Saturday's game. The Eagles will host eighth-seeded Saint Leo at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the ICI Center.
