HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team registered its second shutout in as many games with a 12-0 road win over South Carolina-Beaufort on Tuesday afternoon.
Tyler Donay pitched five scoreless innings of relief, allowing just two baserunners, to improve his record to 2-1.
AJ Marinello was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored, while
Max Kops was 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI.

Second Inning
• Aracena led off the inning with a single to centerfield and after walks were issued to
Alex Imposimato and
Jack Beyl, Aracena scored when
Collin Mastromauro was hit by a pitch, prompting a pitching change.
• Reliever Brayden Parton struck out the first batter he faced but a
Matthew Coker double to left and a Marinello single to centerfield drove in four runs to put the Eagles up 5-0.
Third Inning
• Aracena reached base again in the third, this team via a hit by pitch.
• A fielding error advanced Aracena two bases, and he scored on an Imposimato sacrifice fly.
Fourth Inning
• Marinello's double came in the fourth when he drove home
Elias Campbell who was hit by a pitch.
• Kops and Marinello traded places when Kops hit his double left field, and Aracena followed suit with a two-bagger to right to add three runs to the Eagle tally.
Eighth Inning
• Kops' second double of the game sent Coker across plate.
•
Drew Clymer's two-RBI double scored Marinello and Kops to close out the scoring.
