DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – The No. 4 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team extended its strong season with a 5-2 win over Rider University on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles showcased its dominance on both sides of the game, securing a clean sweep in doubles and a solid performance in singles to improve their record to 14-1.

How It Happened
- The No. 3 pair of Charly Egger and Jessica Christa Wira Hadipoernomo were dominant, dispatching Elle Catanzarite and Chloe Monachelli 6-2.
- Benedetta Sensi and Maissane Aik bounced back from their previous match and clinched a 6-4 win at No. 2 over Laila Fishman and Maria Buss.
- Carla Cabero del Hierro and Kaylee Kirivong wrapped up the doubles sweep with a 6-4 victory at No. 1 against Catanzarite and Monachelli, breaking serve once to seal the win.
- Franziska Kremerskothen was first to finish, dominating Monachelli 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5.
- Benedetta Sensi extended her impressive form, easily overcoming Claire Brown 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.
- No.37 Wira Hadipoernomo had a hard-fought battle at No. 2, defeating Maria Buss. After winning the first set 6-0, she dropped the second set 6-3 but regained her rhythm to win the third set 6-3.
- Cabero del Hierro came from behind in strong fashion at No. 4 against Daniela Naves. After dropping the first set 6-0, she fought back to win the next two sets in tiebreaks, ultimately winning 0-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(5).
