DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team closed out a four-game week with a 14-0 win over Wayne State (Neb.) on Saturday at Sliwa Stadium. The Eagles took an early 4-0 lead after two innings and then erupted for eight runs in the sixth to improve their overall record to 11-6.

Max Kops were both 3-for-5 with 3 RBI.

Tristan Harley earned the win, scattering four hits and striking out two in 5.2 innings to improve to 2-1 on the year.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Second Inning
• After 
AJ Marinello doubled to right centerfield and scored on Kops' single up the middle in the first, the Eagles tacked on three runs in the second.
• Doubles by Kops and 
Elias Campbell headlined the inning which extended the lead to 4-0.
 
Fourth Inning
• The fourth inning marked the third straight at-bat with a hit for Kops.
• Colin Mastromauro reached on a single and scored on a single by Coker, who scored on a Kops single.
 
Sixth Inning
• The Eagles scored eight runs on five hits in the sixth and sent 13 batters to the plate, with seven runs coming with two outs.
• After back-to-back singles and two hit batters scored a run and load the bases, Coker crossed on a wild pitch.
• 
Jack Beyl's single to left drove in two more runs.
• After Mastromauro's RBI-single to centerfield, the Eagles got two more runs on wild pitches and another via a Coker single.
