WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Embry Riddle (No. 4 seed) men's tennis team competed Sunday morning in the Sunshine State Conference Championship third-place playoff against No.2 seed Saint Leo. The Eagles fell 4-0 to Lions, finishing in fourth place—matching their tournament seeding.

- The Eagles have now dropped the last five matchups against the Lions.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles got off to a tough start, losing the doubles point after defeats at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.
- Joshua Nuyts came out firing and took the first set 6-3 at No. 3 singles against Dylan Andrianaly.
- At No. 4, Alvaro Diaz Rodrigo flew through the first set 6-2 over longtime rival Luis Iriarte but dropped the second 6-3.
- Enrico Rosellini (No. 2) bounced back from a 6-2 opening set loss to take the second set 6-2 against Jose Davis Segovia.
- However, the match was clinched before those contests could be completed, with Saint Leo securing wins on courts one, five, and six.
