Embry-Riddle Athletics Sees Record Number of Eagles Included on Spring 2025 SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll

MELBOURNE, Fla. – A total of 231 Embry-Riddle student-athletes were included in the Spring 2025 Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, as announced by the SSC on Tuesday. It's the most Eagles included on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in Embry-Riddle's history.

The list is composed of 2,255 student-athletes across the 11 SSC member institutions. Additionally, 38 of the 521 student-athletes with a perfect 4.00 GPA were Eagles.
 
Student-athletes must post a minimum grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 to be eligible for the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. Participants in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track, women's rowing, baseball, and softball are eligible.
 
Seven Blue and Gold programs (men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, softball, women's lacrosse and women's outdoor track) featured at least 80% of their rosters on the Honor Roll. Women's tennis was the program with the highest percentage of rostered student-athletes included with all 11 of its Eagles meeting the GPA requirement. The men's lacrosse team had the most student-athletes on the Honor Roll, sending 35 to the list. Baseball sent the second most (34) with women's lacrosse (24) and men's outdoor track (23) in tow followed by softball (20), women's rowing (18), women's outdoor track (17), men's golf (12), women's tennis (11), women's basketball (10), men's basketball (9), men's tennis (9) and women's golf (9). 

Men's lacrosse was the program with the most student-athletes (7) who achieved a 4.00 GPA while men's tennis had 40% of its roster earn straight A's, the highest percentage of any Embry-Riddle program.
