HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The last 20 minutes of the first half was dominated by ERAU. The Eagles registered six shots and scored a pair of goals before the break.
  • Lauryn Mateo opened the scoring in the 22nd minute off of a cross from Olivia Gallo that was neatly flicked on by Anna Marisa Lara.

  • The Spartans had a late push in the final 15 minutes, where they took four shots and forced a pair of saves from Stella Roane. Roane's best save of the night came in the 76th minute, tipping a free kick over the crossbar and behind for a corner.
