ERAU recovered from an early deficit to tie the second set at 13-13 before Rollins pulled back in front and held on for a 25-20 finish. Rollins scored the first four points, but
Taylor Fonseca answered with a service ace, and kills from Manjack, Zieman and Good helped the Eagles work back into the set. Weisbrod added consecutive kills during the middle stretch, Smith and Manjack followed with kills, and a block by Manjack and Koerner brought Embry-Riddle level. Rollins later moved from a 16-14 edge to 20-14, and although Zieman, Good and Smith each recorded kills down the stretch, the Eagles could not close the gap as Rollins took the set 25-20.
Smith supplied four kills in the opening stretch of the third set, and ERAU used kills from Zieman and an attack error by Rollins to move ahead 15-14. The Blue and Gold erased a 19-17 deficit by scoring the final eight points of the third set, with Zieman at the service line for the last seven. Good added another kill for set point, and her solo block on the final rally to complete the 25-19 finish.

Within that run, Smith had two kills, Zieman added two more, and Koerner capped the service stretch with an ace. Rollins led 8-6 before Manjack and Zieman kills brought Embry-Riddle level, and
Geiliany Del Valle Fuster later served an ace during a push to a 12-9 lead. Rollins later won three straight rallies to move the score to 20-17, but the Eagles closed with two Manjack kills among their final five points and consecutive Rollins attack errors for a 25-19 set win.
