DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle men's basketball battled to the final horn on Saturday, but a late push from Florida Southern proved to be decisive as the Eagles dropped to 11-12 on the season with the 87-82 loss inside the ICI Center.
Jared Berry led the offensive push for ERAU with 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting; however, the Eagles' second-half rally came up just short despite outscoring the Moccasins 49-47 in the second half.

First Half
- Florida Southern opened with a 5-0 run, taking advantage of early miscues from Embry-Riddle.
- The Eagles answered with a 13-4 run over the next few minutes, claiming a 13-10 lead with big long-range buckets from Clarens Pierre and Berry.
- The Mocs responded by taking a 10-point lead over the Eagles with a 19-6 run mid-way through the period.
- ERAU trailed 40-33 at the break, shooting just 37.8% from the field and 45.5% from three in the first half.
- Klinger and Berry split duties offensively in the first half, scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively.
