WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle men's basketball traveled down to West Palm Beach for a challenging test at No. 13 Palm Beach Atlantic on Wednesday night.
The Eagles fell 90-75 to the Sailfish inside Rubin Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
- Palm Beach Atlantic opened on an 11-0 run in the first two and a half minutes before a free throw from Jared Berry would be the first point to land for Embry-Riddle.
- The Eagles returned with a 12-4 run split by six points from both Jack Klinger and Berry to cut the deficit down to two points.
- Both teams battled in back-and-forth play for a few minutes on a 7-7 scoring stretch, capped by a Berry three-pointer to keep the Eagles' deficit to two.
- PBA stretched the advantage out with another big run, outscoring ERAU 13-1 to move the lead to 35-21 with 5:28 to play.
- Embry-Riddle closed the half with a 47-31 deficit as Palm Beach Atlantic finished on a 12-10 closing run.
- PBA outshot the Eagles with 58.8% (20-of-34) shooting from the field while the Eagles shot for 40% (12-of-30).
- The Sailfish also shot 40% (6-of-15) from three while ERAU shot 18.2% (2-of-11).
- Klinger had a strong first half, scoring 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting while adding four rebounds.
- Berry followed with 11 points and three assists.
Second Half
- After nearly falling into a 20-point deficit early, Embry-Riddle clawed back with a 12-3 run to slice the gap to 10 points.
- Klinger sparked the run with an and-one play before Berry closed out the run with an and-one for himself followed by two straight threes.
- Embry-Riddle battled in back-and-forth play in the middle stretch of the half, closing a 17-15 stretch of scoring with a layup from Landen Harwood and back-to-back threes from Dawson Barr to cut the deficit to single digits.
- Unfortunately, PBA held strong down the final stretch of play by outscoring ERAU 16-9 in the final minutes to claim the 90-75 victory.
- Embry-Riddle led the scoring 44-43 in the half while shooting 57.7% (15-of-26) from the field and 40% (4-of-10) from three.
- Berry led with 13 points followed by eight points from both Barr and Harwood.
INSIDE THE STATS
- PBA shot for 55.4% (36-of-65) with ERAU shooting 48.2% (27-of-56).
- ERAU also finished 28.6% (6-of-21) from three and 71.4% (15-of-21) from the charity stripe.

- Klinger scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting while also going 3-for-4 from the foul line, adding a team-leading seven rebounds.
