MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Embry-Riddle softball finished the weekend series at Barry with a 4-3 walk-off loss after a lengthy rain delay in the top of the seventh inning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
1st Inning:
2nd Inning:
- Jessica Van Zyl recorded a double in the second but was left on base to continue the scoreless efforts for the Eagles.
4th Inning:
- Both teams were left scoreless after three innings as the Eagles left five runners stranded across the first three and a half innings of play.
- Ava Arnold notched a two-out base hit in the top of the inning as a flyout from Van Zyl left Arnold on base.
- Barry struck first in the bottom of the fourth with a three-RBI double to take a 3-0 lead.
5th Inning:
- The Eagles swiftly answered with three runs of their own in the fifth as Kendall Wilkie homered to deep center field for two runs, followed by Morse's solo shot to deep left field to tie the ballgame.
7th Inning:
- After a scoreless sixth inning and a lengthy rain delay, the Buccaneers secured a walk-off victory with an RBI single to win 4-3.
INSIDE THE STATS
- ERAU hit for .250 (7-of-28) with Morse and Arnold leading with two hits each.
- Barry led 9-7 in total hits while ERAU led 3-2 in extra-base hits.
