Pole Vault Has Record Day, Women’s Track and Field Set for Peach Belt Indoor Championships

Gainesville, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team posted five top-five finishes at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic, highlighted by three Embry-Riddle top-five all-time performances, including one new school record.

Highlight Performances:
  • The pole vault delivered a record-setting day for Kailey Ludwig and Cheyenne Wetch. Ludwig broke her own school record with a vault of 3.75m, also setting a new Peach Belt Conference record. The mark met the provisional standard and currently ranks No. 22 in NCAA Division II. Wetch followed with a second-place finish, clearing 3.60m, the second-highest vault in Embry-Riddle history.
  • The distance medley relay team of Allegra Triner, Liora C. Best, Laura McBride, and Taylor Roth secured a provisional standard with a time of 11:55.62. The performance ranks fourth all-time in Embry-Riddle history and second all-time in the Peach Belt Conference.
