DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The No. 8-ranked Embry-Riddle men's tennis team continued its stellar form of play on Sunday with a tough matchup against No. 4-ranked Wayne State.
The Eagles move their winning streak to six-straight, defeating the Warriors 5-2 at the Crotty Tennis Complex for the fourth top ten victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles had momentum from the jump, capturing two of the three doubles matches.
- Marc Mail and Frederic Tu paired up for a 6-3 win over the No. 11-ranked duo of Luis Klaus and Harry Forsyth on court one.
- The Warriors tied things on court two, taking a 6-1 win over Joshua Nuyts and Joao Morgado.
- Mason Cisco and Manuel Lanteri secured the doubles point with a 6-4 win at court three, defeating Sam Knowles and Tom Wasner
- Wayne State tied the match at No. 2 singles with No. 31 Enrico Rosellini falling to No. 53 Klaus 6-1, 6-0.
- Tu reclaimed the lead for the Eagles with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles, beating out Warren Gunnar.
- No. 34 Morgado extended ERAU's lead to 3-1 with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) win over Forsyth at No. 5 singles.
- Wayne State fought back to a 3-2 deficit with a gritty three-set win over Lanteri on line three as Thomas Mathys won 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
- Nuyts battled at No. 4 singles winning set one 6-1, dropping set two 6-4, and clinching the winning point with a 6-2 set three over Benjamin Hill.
- Closing out the day was No. 28 Mail's hard-fought match against George Day.
- Both set one and two went to tiebreak matches with the match going to a 10-point tiebreak to determine the winner.
- Mail won set one 7-6 (7-3), dropped set two 7-6 (8-6), and secured the match with a 10-3 win in the tiebreaker to give ERAU the 5-2 win.
