Hailey Bruce and Alex Baltazar Hall Lead Eagles at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team spent the weekend in central Florida competing against a strong field of more than 20 NCAA Division I teams at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational.

Highlight Performances:
  • On Friday, Hailey Bruce led the Eagles with their lone top-five finish of the day, placing fourth in the javelin. Her throw of 41.64m led all Division II competitors. Teammates Leah Bartlett and Barrett Cutshall followed in sixth and seventh, respectively.
  • In the pole vault, Cheyenne Wetch and Kailey Ludwig each cleared 3.57m, moving into a tie for the fourth-best outdoor mark in program history.
  • Alexandra Baltazar Hall continued her strong outdoor campaign on Saturday, placing fifth in the discus with a throw of 44.56m.
UP NEXT
Embry-Riddle will return to the UCF Track and Field Complex next weekend for the UCF Knights Invitational, scheduled for March 27-28.
