Barr, Klinger, Montanari Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the Embry-Riddle men's basketball program were recognized on Tuesday, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

Dawson Barr and Jack Klinger earn the honors for back-to-back seasons while Evan Montanari earns the honor for the first time. The trio now brings the program's total CSC Academic All-District honorees to 14.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.  To be eligible for CSC All-District honors, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, compete in at least 90 percent of the team's games or start at least 66 percent of the team's contests, and be a sophomore or higher athletically and academically. In addition to this, programs are limited to four nominations.

Barr competed in 27 of the 28 games for ERAU, averaging 13.4 points per game at a 45.9% clip. He led the team in total made three-pointers with 71, shooting 43.8% from beyond the arc.

Barr is majoring in business administration and has posted a 3.91 cumulative GPA at the time of nomination.

As for Klinger, he was the most efficient scorer in NCAA Division II, shooting 70.5% from the field for an average of 12.9 points per contest. He played in all 28 games for the Eagles, earning Third Team All-SSC honors for his efforts on the court.

Klinger posted a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA at the time of nomination. He is a business administration major.

In his first season for the Blue and Gold, Evan Montanari played in 26 of the games this season and averaged 8.5 points per game, swishing 52 three-pointers. He highlighted the season with five games of 15 or more points.

Montanari is a business administration major and has a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
