Women’s Track and Field Concludes Weekend at UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team competed at the UCF Knights Invitational Friday and Saturday, highlighted by three athletes reaching the NCAA II provisional standard in their respective events.

The meet featured Division I programs such as Purdue, Penn State and Louisville, along with Division II competitors including Tampa, Florida Tech and Saint Leo.

Highlight Performances:
  • Kailey Ludwig headlined Friday's action, clearing 3.82m to break the program record in the outdoor pole vault. Her mark also secured the event win and met the NCAA II provisional standard.
  • Hailey Bruce placed in the top five in the javelin for the second consecutive week with a throw of 40.36m.
  • Taylor Roth competed in the invitational section of the 1500m Friday night, placing sixth in 4:36.33, and followed with a fifth-place finish in the 800m Saturday in 2:11.25, reaching the NCAA II provisional standard.
  • Alexandra Baltazar Hall continued her streak of top-five finishes, placing fourth in the discus while again surpassing the provisional standard.
UP NEXT
Embry-Riddle will return to Daytona Beach to host the Embry-Riddle Classic from April 2-4.
