TAMPA, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team traveled west for the USF Invitational on Saturday, recording three top-five finishes and a victory in the javelin.
Highlight Performances:
- Hailey Bruce set the tone early for the Eagles, winning the javelin with a throw of 42.61m, an NCAA Division II provisional standard mark.
- Alexandra Baltazar Hall placed second in the discus with an NCAA Division II provisional mark of 46.42m. She also competed in the shot put, finishing 12th with a throw of 12.63m.
- Emily Tubbs competed in her signature event, the 3000m steeplechase, finishing fifth with a time of 11:51.55.
- Taylor Roth ran a season-best 2:09.29 in the 800m, another NCAA Division II provisional standard mark, ranking No. 13 in the nation.
