BOCA RATON, Fla
. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team earned a dominant 9-0 victory over Lynn on Saturday in game two of the weekend series.
Bailey Russell led the way on the mound, tossing five shutout innings with two strikeouts.

- The Eagles improved to 17-22 all-time against the Fighting Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles struck early as Max McClusky delivered an RBI single to right field, scoring Aidan Corn for a 1-0 lead.
- With two outs, Francisco Feliciano singled and stole second before Aiden Schmidt followed with an RBI single up the middle to extend the lead to 2-0.
- The scoring continued in the top of the fifth as Cole Bullen hit an RBI single to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead.
- Embry-Riddle plated two runs in the sixth. McClusky scored on a throwing error following a sacrifice bunt by Brad Salamone, and Derek Lopez added a sacrifice fly to push the lead to 5-0.
- The Eagles continued to pull away in the seventh as Corn recorded an RBI single and Jack Beyl followed with an RBI double, extending the lead to 7-0.
- Embry-Riddle added two more in the eighth. Lopez doubled to left before Feliciano drove him in with a double. Corn later added another RBI double, making it 9-0.
- The bullpen shut things down late, as Jeff Levin struck out the side as the Eagles got the victory.
INSIDE THE STATS
- The Eagles bats were on fire as they were 14-for-37 for the day, which is a (.378) batting average.
- Embry-Riddle's pitching staff allowed just five hits while striking out nine in the shutout.
- Five players recorded multi-hit games, led by Feliciano with three hits.
