BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team suffered its second loss of the series to close out the weekend. The Eagles took a late lead but were unable to hold on, as the Fighting Knights plated two runs in the ninth to walk off with a win for the second time in the series.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles opened the game with a three-hit first inning, as Collin Mastromauro, Cooper Schmidt and Aidan Corn all singled. However, Embry-Riddle was unable to capitalize, leaving one runner stranded.
- Lynn responded with two hits in the bottom of the first and scored the opening run, which was unearned following an Eagles error.
- The second through sixth innings moved quickly, with just four combined hits, three of which came from Embry-Riddle.
- The Eagles broke through in the seventh, as a single by Max McClusky set the stage for a two-run home run from Torin Foley, giving Embry-Riddle its first lead of the game.
- The score remained unchanged in the eighth despite two Lynn hits, as the Eagles held onto the 2-1 advantage.
- For the second time in the series, Lynn walked it off in the ninth. A double and a sacrifice bunt brought in the tying run, before a wild pitch allowed Joel Tapia-Melo to score the game-winner.
