HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keagan Perez got off to a great start on the mound, retiring the first three Flagler batters in order.
- The Eagles' offense backed up the defense with four hits in the bottom of the first. Cole Bullen reached on a fielder's choice, Aidan Corn singled, and Tripp Schroeder walked to load the bases.
- A walk to Torin Foley brought in Bullen for the first run of the game. Singles by Dylan Bruno and Max McClusky drove in three more, giving the Blue and Gold an early 4–0 lead.
- In similar fashion to the first inning, the Eagles again recorded three straight outs in the top of the second before erupting offensively in the bottom half. Schroeder tripled to right field, and a throwing error allowed him to score. A sequence of a single, hit-by-pitch, wild pitch and another single produced three additional runs, extending the lead to 8–0.
- After being hit by a pitch in the third, Francisco Feliciano later walked in the fifth, and Corn singled to center to bring him home.
- The Eagles added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth, pushing the lead to 11 and putting themselves in position to end the game early.
- Embry-Riddle closed it out in the seventh, walking the first batter before recording three straight outs to end the game.
