CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Embry-Riddle track and field sent seven student-athletes to compete at the Lee University Last Chance on Saturday, seeing six of seven reach an NCAA Division II provisional mark, along with a tied program record.
Performances:
- The 800m trio of Laura McBride, Taylor Roth and Allegra Triner finished second, third and fifth respectively with times of 2:07.57, 2:07.67 and 2:08.37. Those times rank 18th, 19th and 25th in NCAA Division II this season. McBride's 2:07.57 moves her into fourth all-time in Embry-Riddle program history.
- Jade Nayap highlighted the day with a win in the high jump, clearing 1.71m. Her mark moves her into 20th in NCAA Division II and tied the Embry-Riddle program record.
- Alexandra Baltazar Hall finished as the runner-up in the discus, throwing an NCAA Division II provisional standard of 48.49m. Although not a season best, her current top mark of 49.60m ranks 14th nationally.
- Kailey Ludwig vaulted 3.71m to finish as the Lee University Last Chance runner-up.
- Hailey Bruce tied her personal best in the javelin with a throw of 43.73m, an NCAA Division II provisional standard and the third-best throw of the meet.
