ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released the 2026 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll on Friday afternoon, recognizing 2,276 total students from the 11 SSC schools, including 209 ERAU student-athletes.
The conference saw a record 552 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.00 grade-point average during this past semester, with 82 of those coming from Embry-Riddle student-athletes.
Student-athletes must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 to be eligible for the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. Participants in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, women's beach volleyball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's outdoor track, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's lacrosse, women's rowing, baseball, and softball are eligible for the spring honor roll.
Men's lacrosse led all programs with 33 student-athletes earning Honor Roll recognition, followed by baseball (29) and men's track and field (26). Women's lacrosse placed 25 student-athletes on the list and led all teams with 18 earning a perfect 4.00 GPA. Women's track and field recorded 19 honorees, while women's rowing added 17. Men's and women's tennis each had 12 student-athletes earn at least a 3.20 GPA, and both men's and women's basketball posted 11 honorees apiece. Men's golf saw nearly its entire roster recognized with 10 selections, while women's golf had more than 70 percent of its roster earn Honor Roll distinction, including five honorees with three perfect 4.00 GPAs.
Having won 144 Division II National Championships since the league was founded in 1975, SSC student-athletes have proven successful in competition in addition to the classroom. The SSC ranked first among NCAA Division II conferences in ASR (Academic Success Rate) for the third-straight year in 2024-25 and has never fallen below second in the metric's 19-year history.
