DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – With the new athletics season underway, Embry-Riddle Athletics has officially unveiled the Eagle's newly renovated and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility.
"This renovation is about more than just a new weight room – it's an investment in our student-athletes and their pursuit of excellence," said Director of Athletics
Dr. Rachel Burleson.
This upgraded facility will serve all 22 athletic programs and enhances the student-athlete experience with a variety of upgrades that elevate how ERAU student-athletes train.
"We want to provide them with the resources, facilities, and support they need to compete at the highest level, both in the classroom and in competition," Burleson continued. "By continuing to invest in the student-athlete experience, we're raising the standard and giving our student-athletes every opportunity to become the best versions of themselves and compete as the best student-athletes in the country."
Embry-Riddle Athletics partnered with Rogers Athletic to help bring the renovation to life. Rogers Athletic designed a space that incorporates new equipment which very few projects have been able to receive as Embry-Riddle is one of the first institutions to roll out several pieces of Rogers' new line of strength equipment.
In collaboration with Director of Strength & Conditioning and ERAU support staff, Rogers built custom equipment with tailored performance specifications and themed accents that reflect the new ERAU Athletics branding. Each piece of equipment was designed with a purpose in mind and was strategically placed for maximum performance.
