Men's Soccer Opens Season With 5-1 Victory Over Trinity College

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Embry-Riddle (1-0-0) secured a decisive 5-1 victory over Trinity College of Jacksonville (0-1-0) on Thursday at Embry-Riddle Lacrosse Field.

The Eagles dominated with 30 shots, including 12 on target, while maintaining a strong defensive effort that limited the visitors to just four shots.

First Half

- Jonas Banouas opened the scoring for Embry-Riddle at 1:53 with an assist from Alexander Hasenohrl, putting the Eagles up 1-0.  
- At 18:22, Lukas Bludau extended the lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal.  
- Trinity responded at 40:34 when K. Pauline scored, narrowing the deficit to 2-1.  
- The Eagles held a 2-1 advantage going into the break.

Second Half

- At 61:29, the Eagles extended their lead with a successful penalty kick by Samuel Magda.
- Elliot Mills added to ERAU's advantage with a goal at 71:29, bringing the score to 4-1.
- In the final moments, Joseph Ben-Ezra sealed the game with a goal assisted by Ethan Rosenblum at 89:58, concluding the match with a 5-1 victory for the Eagles.
