Biography

2004 (Sophomore): Competed for South Florida Community College recording 195 kills hitting .200 and added 48 blocks...a very accomplished student, Jaramillo earned Academic All-Sun Coast Conference, Academic All-State FCCAA Volleyball and Academic All-American honors en route to SFCC Female Student-Athlete of the Year...played for head coach Kim Crawford and received the Coaches Award...was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

2003 (Freshman): Competed for SFCC posting 128 kills with a .144 hitting percentage...earned Academic All-Sun Coast Conference and Academic All-American honors.

High School: Was a two-year varsity letterwinner and 2003 graduate of Sebring High School playing for head coach Venessa Sinness...earned honor roll, national honor society and was a member of Mu Alpha Theta...also played for Big Lake club team for two years under head coach George May.

Personal: Majoring in Human Factors...born in Colombia, South America on May 17, 1985...daughter of Bruno Jaramillo and Lina Maria Escobar...younger sister Daniela also plays for SFCC...chose Embry-Riddle because of its strong academic reputation and the opportunity coach Gallop provided to be a part of the volleyball program...originally from Colombia moved to the United States just five years ago.
