Biography
2007: Redshirted due to a preseason injury.
2006: Appeared in all 121 games...led the team in kills (347), kills per game (2.87), and blocks (94) (among returning players)...a leader on offense, she charted 347 kills (2.87 per game)...played strong defense on the net, marking 94 total blocks...earned FSC Player of the Week honors during the week of Sept. 12...hit a career high 17 kills against Florida Memorial on Nov. 11.
Prep: A 2006 graduate of All Saints’ Academy...compiled over 1,000 kills and 150 blocks competing on the varsity squad from 2001-05...served as the 2005 team captain...earned first-team All-County honors...named the team’s MVP and Most Valuable Offensive Player...began her club volleyball career with the Lakeland Juniors Club playing with the organization from 2002-04...suffered only two losses in her tenure...moved over to the Orlando Volleyball Academy from 2004-06.
Personal: The daughter of Melissa Cox and John Meglic of Winter Haven, Fla. ...pursuing a degree in Applied Meteorology.
