Biography

Ebanks was a two-time first-team All-Suncoast Conference performer at SFCC and was Best Offensive Player her freshman campaign. The All-State and All-Region performer holds the SFCC record for career service aces with 94. In addition to excelling on the volleyball court, Ebanks also brings academic success earning Academic All-Suncoast Conference in 2004-05. The daughter of Cindy and Brad Ebanks plans on majoring in Civil Engineering.

"April is a very determined athlete who's coming to Embry-Riddle from South Florida Community College. She is passionate about the game of volleyball and wants to finish her last two years on a high note," Gallop said. "Through her training off the court, April packs a powerful arm swing and is a player who will bring a lot of muscle to this team. She is very quick and will fit into our fast offense very well."

Prior to SFCC, Ebanks was a three-time first-team All-Treasure Lake Conference selection while playing for Okeechobee High School. She earned All-State honors and was the OHS Athlete of the Year her senior season in 2003.
