Fall 2012: Went 3-2 in fall singles action…gutted out a three-set (4-6, 7-5, 11-9) win over Northwood’s Guilherme Azambuja to advance to the quarterfinal round of the USTA/ITA Florida Regional tournament (Sept. 28)… paired with Chris Freeman for a 2-2 doubles record…Leonik and Freeman are ranked ninth in the national preseason doubles poll.
 
As A Freshman in 2011-12: ITA All-American…second team All-Conference selection…posted a 13-7 overall singles record, including a 7-5 ledger in dual match play…was 4-0 in conference play…earned a 5-3 record at the No. 6 singles spot…garnered Sun Conference Player of the Week honors after grabbing a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Jason Alabaster of NCAA II No. 8 Rollins…Leonik and Chris Freeman teamed up for a team-best 25-4 doubles record, including a 9-3 mark at the No. 2 spot and 6-0 league record…the duo notched wins against NCAA II No. 2 Barry (Feb. 5), No. 5 Concordia (N.Y.) (March 4), No. 8 Rollins (Feb. 8) and No. 4 Lynn(Apr. 1) and closed out the season on a six-match winning streak…the tandem was ranked ninth in the final ITA/NAIA national doubles poll. Fall 2011: Posted a 6-2 singles record in his first semester of competition for the Eagles…rebounded from a second-round loss in the main draw USTA/ITA Florida Regional and rattled off four straight victories to win the back draw…teamed up with Chris Freeman for a 4-1 doubles ledger…the duo’s only loss came in the semifinals of the ITA Regional tournament where they fell to Felix and Peter Francis 6-3, 6-1…Freeman and Leonik are ranked 15th in the ITA preseason poll.

Prep: Graduated from Keystone National High School in 2011 while attending the Roddick/Lavalle Tennis Academy…coached by Myron Grunberg…achieved a No. 350 ranking in the International Tennis Federation Junior World Tennis Rankings in just seventh months of play…

Personal: Born in Shalimar, Fla. on July 9, 1992…parents are Robert and Lucy Leonik…majoring in Aeronautical Science…organized a shoe distribution drive for needy children while traveling in South America.
