2011-12: INDOOR – Saw action in four meets, primarily running the 400m and 4x400m relay…helped the 4x400m team win the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 28) with a time of 3:21.47…placed second in the 4x400m at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 17) in 3:17.08…competed at the NAIA Indoor Championships (Mar. 1) in the 4x400m relay, finishing 17th in the preliminary round. OUTDOOR – Competed in three meets…ran a season-best 49.60 in the 400m at the USF Bulls Invitational (Mar. 16)…finished seventh in the 400m at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 22) with a time of 51.62.
 
2010-11: Utilized redshirt.
 
2009-10: INDOOR – Competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m for ERAU…placed first in the 400m at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 19) in a time of 50.27…best 200m time came at the ERAU Challenge with a mark of 22.81…ran a 11.77 in the 100m at the ERAU Dual Meet (Feb. 27). OUTDOOR – Ran in seven meets for ERAU, including the NAIA National Championships (May 27) in the 400m where he finished in a time of 49.16…set the Embry-Riddle record in the 400m at the FSU Twilight (May 7) in a time of 48.35…part of the Eagle 4x400m relay along with teammates Laquardo Newbold, Kevin Bray and Sam Vazquez at the NAIA National Championships where they finished in 3:13.56…ran a 11.32 in the 100m at the ERAU Spike’s Classic…22.17 mark in the 200m at The Sun Conference Championships placed him eighth overall.
 
2008-09: OUTDOOR - Helped set the ERAU record in the 4x100m at the NAIA National Championship (May 5) in a time of 42.01…took first at the Winter Sun #1 (Jan. 17) in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 22.97…ran the 200m in 22.53 and the 400m in 50.23 at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 31), taking second and third place, respectively...ran a season-best time of 49.30 in the 400m at the Riddle Run-Around (Apr. 5)… recorded a season-best time in the 200m (22.21) at the Spike’s Classic (Mar. 21). INDOOR – Competed in the 400m at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Feb. 6), crossing the finish line in 51.01, good for a seventh place finish…was also a member of the 4x800m relay team that took second place in 3:19.47…took sixth in the 400m (50.29) at the Tiger Invitational (Feb. 13).
 
PREP: A 2008 graduate of Grand Bahamas Catholic High School…captained the track and field team his senior year…earned a silver medal in the 400m and bronze medal in the 200m at the 2008 Island Sports Games… finished fourth in the 400m at the Bahamas National Meet his senior year…member of the 2005 Bahamas National Team that earned a bronze medal in the 4x400 relay.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Miami, Fla. on Oct. 24, 1989…son of Ricardo Laing and Patricia Burton…majoring in Aviation Maintenance.
