2011-12: CROSS COUNTRY: Put forth the best individual season in Embry-Riddle cross country history…earned NAIA All-America status for the second time in his career with a sixth-place finish at the NAIA National Championship (Nov. 19) with a time of 24:16, the second-fastest time of his season and the fourth-fastest mark in program history…second men’s cross country athlete in NAIA history to be named the NAIA National Runner of the Week three times in one season…earned Sun Conference Runner of the Week accolades five times during the season…named The Sun Conference Runner of the Year and first team All-Conference for winning The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 5) in 25:39.84…ran the third-fastest time in ERAU history at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge (Oct. 14) when he finished in 24:15.10…won six of the eight meets Embry-Riddle participated in…ran five of the 20 fastest times in Blue and Gold history and now owns 11 total. INDOOR: Named an NAIA All-American in the 5000m after finishing second at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships (Mar. 3) in a time of 14:31.22…set an ERAU indoor record in the 3000m (8:22.92) at the Florida Gator Invitational (Jan. 22) where he won the event…posted his fastest collegiate time in the mile at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 11), finishing second in 4:10.07…received top honors in the 5000m at the ERAU Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 28) with a 14:51.84. OUTDOOR: Earned NAIA All-America accolades in the 10,000m with a fourth-place time of 30:43.29 at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 26)…broke the Embry-Riddle outdoor 5000m record at Stanford’s Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational (Apr. 29), finishing third in 14:02.99…set personal-bests in both the 800m and 1500m at the ERAU Spikes Classic (Mar. 24), with times of 1:56.82 and 3:52.28 respectively…never finished lower than fourth in any race during the outdoor season.

2010-11: CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in seven meets for the Eagles…was the top Eagle finisher in four meets, including two first-place overall finishes...won the ERAU Asics Classic (Sept. 25) in a time of 25:41.67...set a new school record with a time of 24:06.71 at the Southeast Classic (Oct. 23), finishing second overall...earned The Sun Conference Runner of the Year honors with his first-place finish at the TSC Championships (Nov. 6) in 24:29. INDOOR: Competed in five meets…won the 3000m (8:42.77, “A” standard) and the 5000m (15:15.29, “B” standard) at the ERAU Indoor Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 22)…won the 5000m in an “A” standard time of 15:03.89 at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 11)…earned a “B” standard in the mile with a first-place time of 4:21.82 at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 18)…won a silver medal in the 5000m at the NAIA Indoor National Championships (Mar. 3), finishing just .01 seconds behind the winner…shattered the school record in that 5000m event with a 14:23.99 time, 20 seconds faster than his own previous record. OUTDOOR: Participated in seven meets…won the 5000m by 32 seconds (14:47.37) at the ERAU Spikes Classic (Mar. 18)…broke the school record in the 10000m with an “A” standard time of 30:25.20 at the FSU Relays (Mar. 23), winning the event…won the 5000m at the Florida Relays (Apr. 1) with a time of 14:08.98, surpassing the previous school record by 31 seconds and clocking the third-fastest time in the NAIA that season…won both events he ran at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 17), the 5000m (16:03.83) and the 10000m (31:09.96)…took first in the 5000m at the Bob Pollock Invitational (15:15.38, May 7) and the UNF Osprey Invitational (14:52.90, May 13)…earned two silver medals at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 26), running a 14:11.59 in the 5000m and breaking his own school record for the second time in 2011 in the 10000m (29:48.88).

2009-10: CROSS COUNTRY: Was the No. 1 Eagle finisher in six of the seven meets he raced in…posted four of the fastest times in ERAU history and became the second fastest runner in program history during the 2009 season…raced to a first place overall finish at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 18), crossing the line in a sub 25-minute mark of 24:21.10…took home three more first place finishes at the Florida Tech Invite (Sept. 12), the Asics Embry-Riddle Classic (Oct. 10) and The Sun Conference Championship (Nov. 7), earning him a spot on the All-Conference team…named an NAIA All-American for his ninth place overall finish at the NAIA National Championship (Nov. 21), crossing the line first in the Eagle pack in 25:26. INDOOR: Earned indoor All-America status in the 5000m when he finished third overall in 14:43.56…set an Embry-Riddle record in the 5000m with that time…finished first, second or third in every meet he ran. OUTDOOR: NAIA Outdoor All-American in the 5000m and 10,000m…The Sun Conference Track Athlete of the Year…broke three school records in the outdoor season…finished third at the NAIA National Championship (May 27) in 14:40.18 (an Embry-Riddle record) in the 5000m…set the school record in the 3000m at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 19) at 8:32.21…also broke a Blue and Gold record in the 10000m at the FSU Relays (Mar. 26) where he ran a 30:34.77.

2008-09: OUTDOOR: Broke the outdoor school record in the 5K at the Florida Relays finishing in a time of 15:01.09. INDOOR: Set the school record time of 15:15 in the 5K at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 13).

PREP: Graduated from Kapsabet High School in 2007…competed in track and field all four years, excelling in the 3K and 5K distances…earned second at districts in 2006…took home first place in the 3K at 2007 districts.

PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 16, 1989 in Eldoret, Kenya….son of Joshua and Leah Korir…majoring in Aeronautics.
