2013-14: CROSS COUNTRY: Top Eagle finisher in seven of the eight meets on the year…finished first at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 9), earning TSC Runner of the Year honors and first team All-Conference recognition…posted a career-best 24:29.71 at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 14) to finish 14th overall and post the 10th-best time in school history…placed first overall at the Seminole Invitational (Oct. 11) in 25:00.18…first Eagle to cross the finish line at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 23) in a time of 25:23.77. INDOOR: NAIA Indoor All-American in the 3,000m run, finishing seventh overall in a career-best 8:37.30…finished second in the Mile at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 22) with a time of 4:22.07. OUTDOOR: All-Sun Conference performer in the 10,000m when he finished third in 32:53.50…competed at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 22) in the 3,00m Steeplechase, finishing in 9:27.61…placed first in the 3,000m Steeplechase in a time of 9:23.72 at the USF Open (March 14) and also finished first in the same event at the FSU Relays (March 21) in 9:38.86.
 
2012-13: CROSS COUNTRY: Became the second Embry-Riddle harrier to earn Sun Conference Newcomer of the Year honors…finished third overall at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 3) in 26:06.05, earning first team All-Conference honors…first Eagle finisher at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 17), placing 65th overall in 26:00…ran the 17th-fastest time in program history and became the fourth-fastest Eagle of all-time with a 24:44.82 finish at the Sand Shark Invite (Oct. 20) where he placed second overall. INDOOR: Competed at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships (Feb. 29) in both the 3000m and the Distance Medley Relay...posted his best 3000m time of the winter with an 8:40.69 at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 16), winning the event...finished third in the 5000m at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Jan. 27) with a time of 15:32.76. OUTDOOR: Earned NAIA All-America recognition in the 3000m Steeplechase, finishing third at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships (May 25) in a school-record time of 9:10.55...named the 2013 Sun Conference Track Athlete of the Year, taking home three titles at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 22), including the 3000m Steeplechase (9:31.32), the 5000m (16:26.69) and as a member of the 4x800m relay squad (7:54.73).

At Middle Tennessee State: Competed for both the Blue Raiders’ cross country and track programs…competed in five cross country meets, recoding his best time at the Greater Louisville Classic (Oct. 1), clocking a 26:10.54…finished 49th at the 10k NCAA South Regional (Nov. 12), crossing the finish line in 32:53.80…won two events in track, the 3000m at the Ed Temple Classic (Jan. 7) (8:46.94) and the 5000m at the Coach “O” Invitational (Apr. 28) (15:19.72).

PREP: 2007 graduate of Kapcheplanget High School…three-sport athlete for Kapcheplanget in handball, volleyball and track.

PERSONAL: Born in Moi’s Bridge, Kenya on Dec. 31, 1992…son of Josphat and Persilisa Korir…majoring in Aeronautical Engineering.
