Biography
2011-12: INDOOR – Participated in three meets during indoor season…finished tenth with a career-best mark of 9.82m in the triple jump at the ERAU Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 28)…also placed eighth in the high jump with a school-record mark of 1.54m at the Florida Gator Invitational (Jan. 22). OUTDOOR – Saw action in three meets…earned a silver medal in the high jump (1.48m) and placed fifth in the triple jump (9.45m) at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 22-23).
2010-11: INDOOR – Participated in two meets during indoor season…finished eighth with a career-best mark of 9.73m in the triple jump at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 18)…also placed fifth in the high jump (1.40m) at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 18). OUTDOOR – Saw action in five meets…took sixth place in both the high jump (1.47m) and the triple jump (9.26m) at the ERAU Spikes Classic (Mar. 18)…earned a gold medal in the high jump with a school-record mark of 1.53m at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 17).
2009-10: INDOOR – High jumped 1.40m at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 23). OUTDOOR – Set a Blue and Gold record in the high jump at the ERAU Spike’s Classic (Apr. 2) with a mark of 1.47m…finished fifth at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 19) in the high jump (1.43m), ninth in the long jump (4.38m) and sixth in the triple jump (9.53m).
PREP: 2008 graduate of Star of the Sea College…was the State runner-up in the 4x200 relay and finished third in the 4x100 relay…took first in the conference in the 4x100 relay, second in the high jump and second in the medley relay...also competed in soccer, futsal (a variation of indoor soccer), springboard diving, softball, field hockey and cricket…four-time school champion in diving…captained the Australian Futsal Tour to China in 2006…five-time team MVP in soccer…helped her soccer team to five conference titles… five-time selection to the All-State soccer team…recipient of the team’s Fair Play award.

Durston and Linda Ryan…earned Distinction in nationwide mathematics competition…recipient of school science and math awards…one of only two female referees in the two-year Talented Officials Program…refereed the Australian National Youth Championship for Girls in 2008…one of only two students recommended for the Global Engineering Leaders Conference...Sacred Heart Mission volunteer…majoring in Civil Engineering.
