2012-13: As a junior for the Eagles he teed off in four events…best finish came at the Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate when he tied for ninth after shooting a three-round 225 (72-81-72)…season best was a 72…shot a three-round 223 (77-74-72) at the Eagle Invitational where he placed in 12th…rounded out his junior campaign at the Bash at the Beach shooting 77-75=152.

2011-12: Teed off in nine events for the Eagle men in his sophomore campaign…finished with a season stroke average of 77.9…placed t-25 at the St. John’s Invitational (Oct. 23) with a 234 (80-77-77)...shot a career best 69 in the first round of the Eagle Invitational (Mar. 20) while shooting a 221 (69-79-73) for his first top five finish as an Eagle.

2010-11: Participated in six events as a freshman…finished with a season stroke average of 77.4…shot a six-over par 75-73-74=222 at the Southeastern Invitational (Nov. 2) finishing tied for 17th…fired a season best one-over par 70-71-74=215 at the Camp Lejeune Invitational (Mar. 27).

Prep: 2010 graduate of Darlington High School…part of a Regional Championship squad during his freshman, sophomore and senior seasons…awarded the Most Improved Award in 2009…received the Scholar-Athlete honor for golf his junior year…All-Region team member all four years of his prep career…finished fourth at The Junior British Open in 2006.

Personal: Born Oct. 9, 1992 in Blantyre, Malawi…son of Pragna and Mahesh Patel…majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
