2014-15: CROSS COUNTRY: ERAU’s top finisher at three of the team’s eight meets…named 2014 Sun Conference Runner of the Year and a first team All-Conference performer after placing first at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 8) where he finished 40 seconds ahead of the second place finisher…best time of the season came at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 5) where he finished eighth overall with a time of 24:51.77…posted a time of 26:03.50 at the NAIA National Championships where he was the Eagles’ top finisher. 

2013-14: CROSS COUNTRY – In a breakout junior season, won 2013 Sun Conference Runner of the Year accolades after winning The Sun Conference Championships in a time of 24:57.67 and leading the Blue and Gold to its ninth straight conference title…led the Eagles in all seven races he competed in…notched two individual wins throughout the season at the Seminole Invitational (Oct. 11) and The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 9)…best time of the season came at the Mountain Dew Invitational (Sept. 14) in 24:29.71, the 10th fastest time in Eagle history, and making him the third fastest runner in Eagle history…led the Eagles to a 16th place team finish, finishing in 45th place in 25:23.77 at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 23). INDOOR: NAIA Indoor All-American in the 3,000m run, finishing seventh overall in a career-best 8:37.30…finished second in the Mile at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 22) with a time of 4:22.07. OUTDOOR: All-Sun Conference performer in the 10,000m when he finished third in 32:53.50…competed at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 22) in the 3,00m Steeplechase, finishing in 9:27.61…placed first in the 3,000m Steeplechase in a time of 9:23.72 at the USF Open (March 14) and also finished first in the same event at the FSU Relays (March 21) in 9:38.86.

2012-13: CROSS COUNTRY – Became the second Embry-Riddle harrier to earn Sun Conference Newcomer of the Year honors…finished third overall at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 3) in 26:06.05, earning first team All-Conference honors…first Eagle finisher at the NAIA National Championships (Nov. 17), placing 65th overall in 26:00…ran the 17th-fastest time in program history and became the fourth-fastest Eagle of all-time with a 24:44.82 finish at the Sand Shark Invite (Oct. 20) where he placed second overall. INDOOR: Competed in five indoor events…won the 3000m with a time of 8:56.83 at the ERAU Challenge (Jan. 20)…won the 3000m with an “A” standard time of 8:40.69 a college-best time at the ERAU Last Chance meet (Feb. 16)…competed in the 3000m and the distance medley relay at the NAIA Indoor Championships (March 2)…ran an 8:50.24 in the preliminary of the 3000m. OUTDOOR: In a breakout track season competed in seven meets…won the 3000m steeplechase in a “B” standard and school-record time of 9:26.86, and ran a college-best in the 1500m placing in sixth in 4:00.73 at the LSU Relays (March 22)…won the 3000m steeplechase with a “B” standard time of 9:25.82 at the UNF Invitational (March 30)…led the Blue and Gold, with a pair of victories in the 3000m Steeplechase (9:31.32) and 5000m (16:26.69) earning All-Conference selections in both at The Sun Conference Championships (April 22)…also earned an All-Conference selection in the 4x800m relay after being a member of the winning team…for his stellar performance at the conference meet he earned the 2013 Track Athlete of the Year Award for TSC…posted a college-best in the 5000m winning the event in 15:23.30 at FSU Twilight (May 3)…school record in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Georgia Tech Invite (May 11), placed second in the event with an “A” standard, personal and school-best in 9:14.99…earned his first All-American honor, as he took third in the 3000m steeplechase besting his school-record time with a 9:10.55 at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 25).  

AT MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE: Competed for both the Blue Raiders’ cross country and track programs…competed in five cross country meets, recoding his best time at the Greater Louisville Classic (Oct. 1), clocking a 26:10.54…finished 49th at the 10K NCAA South Regional (Nov. 12), crossing the finish line in 32:53.80…won two events in track, the 3000m at the Ed Temple Classic (Jan. 7) (8:46.94) and the 5000m at the Coach “O” Invitational (April 28) (15:19.72).

PREP: 2007 graduate of Kapcheplanget High School…three-sport athlete for Kapcheplanget in handball, volleyball and track.

PERSONAL: Born in Moi’s Bridge, Kenya on Dec. 31, 1992…son of Josphat and Persilisa Korir…majoring in Aeronautical Engineering.
