Biography

As A Junior in 2015-16: Wrapped up the season at 14-6 in singles play…saw action in 13 dual matches, posting an 8-5 ledger…was 1-0 in his only match at the third spot, a 6-0, 6-1 defeat of Lafayette’s Chris Maturi (March 22)…his 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Noah Rawls clinched the Eagles’ win over Southeastern (April 7). Fall 2015: Compiled a 6-1 singles record in fall tournament play…was 6-1 in doubles…unbeaten in four singles matches at the ERAU Open (Sept. 18-20)…advanced to the semis of the Wildcat Flight at the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational (Oct. 30-Nov. 1) with wins over Alabama State’s Sebastien Villacana (6-1, 6-0) and Keiser’s Ignacio Osse (6-2, 5-7, 10-5).
 
As A Sophomore in 2014-15: Posted a 16-3 singles ledger, including a 12-1 record in dual matches and a perfect 6-0 mark in Sun Conference play…played the majority of his matches at the fourth through sixth spots…blanked Webber International’s Patricio Henning 6-0, 6-0 playing at the third position in the lineup (March 25)…registered the clinching point in five matches, including a 6-4, 7-5 win over Northwestern Ohio’s Ronnie Myburgh that helped propel the Eagles into the NAIA National semifinals (May13)…finished the year with a 10-5 record in doubles…was 9-3 in tandem with Miguel Lopez Gomez. Fall 2014: Posted a 4-2 fall singles record…earned straight-set wins against Florida Southern’s Brian Slivonik (6-2, 6-2) and Casey Austgen (6-3, 6-3) at the ERAU Open (Sept. 10-12)…advanced to the USTA/ITA Florida Regional quarterfinals with wins over St. Thomas’ Matias Dasso (6-4, 6-1) and Warner’s Juan Espinel (2-6, 2-2, ret.)…teamed up with Miguel Lopez Gomez for a 5-1 doubles ledger…the duo was undefeated in ERAU Open play and advanced to the ITA regional quarterfinal round.
 
As A Freshman in 2013-14: Completed the season with an 18-8 singles record and an 18-11 record in doubles…one of only two Eagles players to finish 7-0 in conference play…played the majority of his dual matches at No. 6 singles where he was 5-5…bested Hans Nardelli 6-1, 6-0 to score the clincher in the Eagles’ win over Belmont (March 5)…also clinched ERAU’s win over Northwood in the semifinals of the conference tournament with a 6-1, 7-6 (14-12) win against Niktia Borodatov at the No. 4 position…partnered with Miguel Lopez Gomez for a 14-9 doubles ledger with all of their dual matches play at the third position…Fall 2013: Turned in a 5-1 record in fall singles play…won all three of his matches in three sets at the ERAU Open (Sept. 16-18)…earned a three-set (6-4, 4-6, 10-4) win over Northwood’s David Uquillas and topped Webber International’s Justus Klocke (6-4, 6-2) to advance to the second round of the USTA/ITA Florida Regional (Sept. 26-29)…teamed up with Juan Verberne for a 3-2 doubles record.
 
Prep: Graduated from Maple Leaf International High School in June 2013…also attended Fatima College…garnered Junior Sportsman of the Year honors at Fatima College…represented Trinidad and Tobago in both the junior and senior Davis Cup tournaments…achieved a No. 473 ITF Ranking.
