Fall 2014: Crowned the 2014 ITA/NAIA and ITA Super Bowl Doubles champion in tandem with Deni Zmak…Sanchez Canamares and Zmak are ranked No. 1 in the ITA/NAIA doubles poll…the duo held off Northwood’s Alvaro Itiurraga and Nicolas CuershanikĀ  7-5, 6-7 (4), 10-6 to win the USTA/ITA regional crown…registered hard-fought, straight-set wins in their first two matches at the ITA/NAIA National Small College Championship…bested Westmont’s Barnard and Linquist 5-7, 7-5, 6-1 to capture the 2014 ITA/NAIA National doubles title…the duo also defeated Trinity’s Jordan Mayer and Aaron Skinner (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) and NCAA II Lynn’s top-ranked team of Daniel Riggs and Paolo Volpicelli (6-3, 6-4) to win the ITA Super Bowl…Sanchez-Canamares compiled a 6-2 singles record…ranked 13th in the ITA/NAIA singles poll…dropped just nine games in his first three matches at the USTA/ITA Florida regional…downed 38th-ranked Alvaro Itiurraga of Northwood (6-2, 6-4) to advance to the regional title match where he lost in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 2-6) to Zmak.

As A Junior in 2013-14: Joined the ERAU lineup in the spring…NAIA first team All-American…first team All-Conference…ITA Academic All-American…named to ERAU Athletics President’s Team…posted a 12-7 singles record, playing all of his matches at the No. 2 spot…was 5-1 in Sun Conference play…

As A Sophomore at Oklahoma Christian: Took a redshirt in the 2012-13 season…posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average to earn Heartland Conference All-Academic and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2012-13…turned in a 22-1 singles record and an 11-3 doubles mark as a sophomore…registered a 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (6) win over his former teammate Cledson Carvalho of Fresno Pacific at No. 3 singles to help OCU to the 2012 NAIA national title…garnered second team NAIA All-America, ITA Scholar-Athlete, Heartland All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors…also named an ITA All-American and the 2012 ITA Player to Watch.

As A Freshman at Fresno Pacific: Posed a 17-2 record in singles play and a 10-8 doubles ledger in his only season with the Sunbirds…played at No. 6 singles and No. 2 doubles in the FPU lineup…helped the Sunbirds capture the 2011 NAIA National title.
