2017-18: Part of the 8+ boat that placed fifth in the Championship 8+ race at the Head of the Hooch in 15:32.67 (Nov. 10)…helped the Varsity 8 boat defeat Rollins at TARS Regatta in 5:52.7 (March 14)…part of the Varsity 8+ boat that won the state title at the FIRA Championships in 6:01.70 (April 7)…finished 10th in the Varsity 8+ boat with a time of 5:28.937 at the SIRA Championships (April 21).
Milwaukee School of Engineering 2013-15: Played Basketball and Tennis at NCAA III school Milwaukee School of Engineering for 2 seasons.
Prep: Graduated from Miguel Catalan High School in 2013.
Personal: Born in Zaragoza, Spain…son of Julia Quilez and Jose Antonio Ferrando…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…hopes to be a General Aviation Aircraft Designer upon completing his degree…placed 4th in the Men's 1x event in FIRA Championships and 6th in SIRA Championships in Spring 2017…plays the cello.
