Fall 2009: Compiled a 9-2 singles record...closed out the fall campaign on a 6-0 unbeaten streak...shut out Florida Southern's Ray Duyungan 6-0, 6-0 and followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Duyungan's teammate Kirk Kucin at the ERAU Open (Sept. 25-27)...also blanked Savannah College of Art and Design's Mihai Draganescu in the first round of the IT Florida Regional back draw...won the regional consolation title with a hard-fought 7-6 (14-12), 6-3 victory over Webber International's Tyler Heath...posted three straight wins against NCAA I opponents at the Auburn Fall Classic (Nov. 20-22)...partnered with Charlie Rice for a 4-5 doubles mark...the duo defeated 23rd-ranked Ales Svigeli and Marco Mokrzycki of NCAA II No. 2 Barry 8-4 at the ERAU Open (Sept. 25)...they also notched an 8-6 victory over Alex Jorne and Davis Taylor of NCAA I Auburn (Nov. 20).

As A Junior in 2008-09: Unable to compete in the spring due to injury...ITA All-America Scholar Athlete...NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete...Academic All-Conference.

As A Sophomore in 2007-08: Academic All-Conference selection...turned in an 11-1 recorded in 12 matches on the year...earned a 6-0 mark in dual matches...victorious in all four matches played at the No. 6 spot...suffered his only loss of the season to teammate Tomoaki Yasuda 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the ITA Florida Regional (Sept. 29)...ended the season on a six-match winning streak...dropped only six games in his last six matches...registered 6-0, 6-0 shutouts against NCAA I Jacksonville's Clay Garrett (Feb. 1) and St. Thomas' Ricardo Valquez (Apr. 18)...also shut out Warner's Kyle Mahlon 8-0 in his only dual match at the No. 2 spot...went 2-4 in doubles play...teamed up with Jan Hoekzema for an 8-0 win against St. Thomas' Kenneth Evans and Diego Paredes (Feb. 9) and an 8-6 victory over another Bobcat duo, Jeremy Bache and Ricardo Valquez (Apr. 18).Fall 2007: Finished the fall season at 5-1...notched four wins in a row at the Embry-Riddle Fall Tournament...defeated Florida Southern's Justin LaFlamme 6-3, 6-1 in the Flight B singles title game...advanced to the second round of the ITA Regional with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Webber International's Philipp Andermatt...listed at No. 15 with Tomoaki Yasuda in the ITA preseason doubles poll...went 0-3 in fall doubles competition.

As A Freshman in 2006-07: ITA Scholar Athlete...Academic All-Conference honoree...one of only three Eagle players to achieve a 20-win season finishing at 20-7...was 15-4 in dual match play...had a perfect 5-0 record in FSC contests...played 11 matches at the No. 6 position going 9-2...topped Warner Southern Luis Rincon 8-0 in his only match at the No. 3 spot (Feb. 16)...defeated Adam Perez 6-0, 6-0 (Feb. 22) and Xavier's (Ohio) Cameron Knowles 6-3, 6-1 (Mar. 6) at the No. 4 position...went on a nine-match winning streak between Mar. 10 and May 15...notched 20 wins in doubles play, including 14 with Tomoaki Yasuda as his doubles partner...the duo won 14 matches in a row before suffering their only loss of the season and was undefeated at 4-0 in league play...partnered with Istvan Bolgar to close out the season...Bolgar and Maricic were 5-1. Fall 2006: Notched five wins in singles play...lost to Rollins' Noah John in the second round of the C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational, but went on to win consolation round in Flight B of the tournament with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over teammate Sean Winbauer...also won two matches in the ITA Regional tournament...went 1-3 with Winbauer in doubles play.

Prep: Graduated from Cardinal Leger in 2006...finished in the top five percentile in each year of high school...completed the Extended French Program in eight years...held a top 10 Ontario Junior Ranking from Under 12 through Under 18 competition...also ranked in the Canadian top 30 during that stretch...finished 12th in singles at the Canadian Junior Nationals...was third in singles and second in doubles at the Ontario Junior Provincial Championships.
