2024-25 (Senior): Won in singles and JV eights at the FIRA Championships (March 29) to aid the Eagles in capturing a second-straight state title.

2023-24 (Junior): Tabbed an Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar Athlete…competed in 16 races as a junior, winning two medals...took fifth out of 43 boats (17:23.657) at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 22)...helped the Eights to a 15th place finish (12:17.750) out of 44 boats at the Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 28)...won gold with the Eights (6:11.89) and silver with the Twos (7:06.35) at FIRA Championships (March 30)...took first place with the Eights (6:21.560) at Dad Vail Regatta (May 11).

2022-23 (Sophomore): Named an Empacher-Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar Athlete…participated in team-high 14 races…accumulated one gold and one silver medal as well as five wins…started the season with a fourth place showing (16:31.843) out of 39 boats in Fours at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 23)…defeated Jacksonville (Oct. 29) in Fours…kicked off the spring by downing Rollins (Mar. 4) in a dual in Eights (5:58.3)…earned a silver medal in Fours (6:39.07) at the FIRA Championships (Apr. 1)…defended the program’s Varsity Four title at the SIRA Championships (Apr. 16), edging Texas by .110 to win with a 6:47.248…placed fourth (6:36.911) out of 27 boats in Fours at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 12).

2021-22 (Freshman): Claimed two wins at the Tars Regatta (March 5), one in Varsity 4 (7:06.7) and the other in Varsity 8 (6:10.8)…rowed a 6:06.8 for a runner-up placement in Varsity 8 at Stetson (March 12)…won in the Pair (7:19.8) at Florida Tech (March 19)…also grabbed second in Varsity 8 (6:29.5)…set a program record in Varsity 2 at the FIRA Championships (April 2) with a 7:05.03 to win gold…helped the Eagles win the overall title for the first time with silver medals in Varsity 4 (6:45.80) and Varsity 8 (6:10.89)…earned a trophy for the Eagles by winning in Varsity 4 (7:01.573) at the SIRA Championships (April 16)…put his name in the Embry-Riddle record books for a second time with a program-record time of 6:25.054 in Varsity 4 during a semifinal race at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 14)…later finished fifth with a 6:27.966 in the final.

Prep: Graduated from Whanganui Collegiate School in 2020…reached the “A” Final at the Aon Maadi Cup in U18 single sculls.

Personal: Born in Christchurch, New Zealand…son of Elizabeth McKee and Marc Paynter...majoring in Aviation Business Administration.
