2022-23 (Senior): Received D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award…Included on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…the only Eagle to compete in all nine tournaments…was the low-man in five of those competitions…broke the individual season stroke average (72.4)…averaged the highest win percentage (.740) of his career…assisted his squad in recording the lowest single-season team scoring average in program history (294.7)...notched three top-5s, three top-10s and five top-20 results…fired eight sub-70 rounds and 14 at or below par…began the season with back-to-back runner-up results at the Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 26-27) and Shark Invitational (Oct. 3-4), setting a 54-hole program record (205) at the latter thanks to three straight rounds in the 60s…led the Eagles to their first tournament win in eight years at the Daytona Beach Spring Invitational (March 6-7)…fired a 213 to place fifth ahead of Tyler Wilkes of Florida, the 54th-ranked golfer in the NCAA I according to Golfstat, and 103 other NCAA I golfers…helped the Eagles break the team 54-hole program record with a 209 (T-11th) at the SSC Tournament (Apr. 23-25)…returned to the NCAA II South/Southeast Regional (May 11-13) for a second-straight season…placed in a tie for 27th out of 108…ended his career with the program’s best career scoring average (74.10), most top-5s (7), most sub-70 rounds (20), third-best win percentage (.652), and tied for the third most top-10s (8)…he owns the two lowest season stroke averages, six of the 18 lowest rounds, and the four lowest 54-hole performances.
2021-22 (Senior): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…only Eagle to participate in all 27 rounds over nine tournaments…became the first in program history selected to an NCAA II Regional…broke the program record for lowest season stroke average (73.0)…also helped men’s golf earn the lowest team stroke total in the history of the program (299.1)…recorded the two lowest 54-hole scores in program history with a 209 (69-73-67) at the McDonough Cup (Nov. 1-2) to place 2nd and a 210 at the Saint Leo Invitational (Feb. 21-22)…additionally tied for the seventh-lowest three-round score at the Jay Jennison Cup (Sept. 20-21) with a 213 (75-69-69)…tallied two top-5 finished and three top-10 results, the most since Embry-Riddle became a full-time NCAA II member in 2017…notched 11 rounds at or below par…responsible for eight of the nine lowest rounds by an Eagle during the season…received a career-best .660 win/loss percentage (488-251)…finished T-75 out of 108 individuals at the NCAA II South/Southeast Regional (May 5-7) with a 226 (71-79-76)…recorded the lowest score by an Eagle in all nine competitions.
2020-21 (Junior): Played in two tournaments, including the SSC Championship (April 19-20)...averaged 75.0 shots per round.
2019-20 (Junior): Included in the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…one of three Eagles to play 18 rounds in all six events this season...led the team with five rounds under par...low man for the Blue & Gold at the Titan Invitational and Panther Invitational...named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week following his performance at the Titan Invitational and is the first ERAU golfer to earn the award in program history... turned in a new career-low 54-hole score of 213 (68-74-71), which is tied for the fifth-lowest 54-hole score in program history, at the McDonough Cup (Oct. 28-29)...fired season-low round of 68 to open the McDonough Cup, which is tied for the 10th-lowest single round score in program history...finished the event t-4th...turned in a score of 216 (71-75-70) at the Titan Invitational (Feb. 3-4) to finish t-4th...finished t-15th at the Battle of Hilton Head Island (Feb. 24-25) with a score of 222 (74-71-77)...took home a 12th place result at the Panther Invitational (Mar. 1-3) with a 54-hole score of 223 (74-75-74)...finished the season with a stroke average of 75.4, tied for the 10th-lowest average in program history.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Played 23 rounds in all eight ERAU events…finished as the low man for the Eagles in five tournaments…tied a career-low 54-hole score of 222 (71-76-75) at the Battle at the Shores (April 8-9)…fired a season-low round of 71 at the NSU Shark Invitational (Oct. 10-11), Panther Invitational (Mar. 5-7) and the Battle at the Shores (April 8-9)…finished 11th at the NSU Shark Invitational with a score of 223 (78-74-71)…placed 14th on the individual leaderboard at the Panther Invitational (Mar. 5-7) with a score of 225 (71-77-77)…finished the season with a stroke average of 75, the ninth-lowest average in program history.
2017-18 (Freshman): Only Eagle to compete in all 21 rounds at all seven tournaments…had a season stroke average of 75.5, tops on the team…fired a career-low 69 in the final round of the SSC Championship (April 24), tied for the lowest individual round of the season by an Eagle.
Prep: 2017 graduate of Colegio Espiritu Santo...won nine tournaments during his senior season, including five US Kids Golf Tour titles and two Puerto Rico Golf League championships...was the 2016 Puerto Rico Junior Island Champion...five-time member of the Puerto Rico Junior National Team...shot a season-low 69 twice in 2016...compiled a stroke average of 76.4 as a senior.
Personal: Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico...son of Nilsa Hernandez and Bienvenido Aldarondo...received bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2022...pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration.
