University Ballpark ushered in a new era for Embry-Riddle baseball in the spring of 2001. The ballpark allowed the Eagles, who racked up many miles traveling to DeLand and Jackie Robinson Ballpark for practices and games, to play their first game on campus.

Six years later, University Ballpark received a new look and a new name. The facility, which was upgraded to include bleacher seating for 615 spectators, a press box and a entry way with 16-foot columns, was renamed Sliwa Stadium in recognition of the continued support of the Sliwa Family. During his tenure as Embry-Riddle's third president, Dr. Steven M. Sliwa established a lasting legacy of growth and prosperity that advanced the university's reputation as a world leader in aviation and aerospace education.

The ballpark, which was completed in September, 2000, is located behind the ICI Center and is one of the premier baseball facilities at the small college level.

The Blue and Gold has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success at Sliwa Stadium, posting an overall record of 474-144 (.767) entering the 2020 season. Sliwa Stadium has played host to 44 Eagle postseason games with Embry-Riddle posting a 38-9 record in those playoff games. In 2007, the Eagles went 30-1 at home, while the 2011 edition of the Eagle program finished 29-2 within the friendly confines of Sliwa Stadium.

The state-of-the-art facility features a field, which can be fully lit and a 36-foot Daktronics scoreboard. The scoreboard is located in the north corner of the field was installed prior to the 2016 season.

The ballpark has dimensions of 330 feet down the left field line, 375 feet in the left-center field gap, 400 feet to straight-away center, 375 feet to right-center field, and 330 feet down the right field line.

In the summer of 2015, Embry-Riddle celebrated the opening of the brand new ERAU Baseball/Softball Clubhouse along with the completion of the renovations at the ERAU Softball Stadium.

Located between Sliwa Stadium and the ERAU Softball Stadium, the clubhouse primarily serves to support both the baseball and softball programs, with additional amenities for Sports Medicine as well as the athletics department as a whole.

The 12,000-square foot facility includes offices for the baseball and softball coaching staffs along with locker rooms for both teams, as well as two officials’ locker rooms. In addition to the offices and locker rooms, the facility includes an athletic training room, a multipurpose conference room, laundry room and public restrooms.
