Mike Rosolino
Head Coach

Mike Rosolio has coached at the collegiate level for over 19 years. Under his direction, Rosolino’s teams have won numerous conference titles and are consistently ranked nationally. He has also coached a number of conference Runners of the Year and All-Americans, as well as 16 individual national champions. The recipient of multiple Conference Coach of the Year honors, Rosolino currently serves as the head coach for both men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s track & field at Embry-Riddle University.

Peter Hopfe
Assistant Coach

Peter Hopfe has been coaching at various levels for over 30 years. He coached numerous individual and team state champions at Flagler Palm Coast High School before coming to Embry-Riddle in 2005. Since then, he has helped guide the Eagle men and women to top-10 finishes in both cross country and track, and has been instrumental in ERAU’s 16 individual national titles.

Gary Ellington
Assistant Coach

Gary Ellington joined the Embry-Riddle staff in 2006 and works primarily with the sprint and jump events.

A two-year letterwinner in track and field and cross country at Bethune-Cookman, Ellington later served as an assistant coach of the track and field program from 1997-2006. He worked specifically with hurdlers, jumpers, throwers and sprinters.

Ellington has spent time as an assistant coach at Atlantic High School, where he was responsible for the training and conditioning of sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers. While at ERAU, he has coached six individuals to 10 All-American honors, and coached Crystal (Bardge) Ellington to three national titles.
