Both programs also practice at the on-campus golf Studio. "Inside the studio you will find the latest technology to help our student-athletes work on their game right here on campus," said Head Women's Golf Coach Maria Lopez. "We have K-Vest, Neurocore Technology, and the OptiShot simulator, as well as a putting green and indoor chipping and hitting area."
- The OptiShot simulator has a TV with a sensor and camera. Similar to playing virtual golf, the simulator tracks and sends the ball traveling on the course when you swing.
- The K-Vest swing training system has 3D motion capture system analysis that reveals what is going on in the swing and gives biofeedback training.
- Neurocore Technology is a virtual and focus training system that aims to help golfers work on their game management and competitive flow.
Along with a storage facility, the studio also serves as a clubhouse where student-athletes can meet as a team or study individually. The walls of the studio showcase some of the programs' history with photos of past Eagle golfers and lists of their individual and team accomplishments. The studio serves as a place of recognition, a monument and a mini golf hall of fame. "The studio is a great time-saver because it can take 30 minutes or more to drive to any of our courses," said Head Men's Golf Coach Ken Staton. "So my players can still do training in between classes or other down times to get that repetition and individual work in. Every other sport has a facility on campus and now we do as well. It's a great resource for our teams and student-athletes."
