Biography
As A Junior in 2011-12: NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete…Capital One Academic All-District selection…named to the Academic All-Conference team…his 31 appearances included a start against Cal State San Marcos…contributed 3.5 points and 1.5 boards in 9.7 minutes of action per game…turned in season-best 15-point performances against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Dec. 16) and Talladega (Nov. 18)…connected on 6-of-8 field goal attempts and pulled down a season-high six rebounds against Mount Vernon Nazarene…was 4-for-5 from beyond the arc for 12 points on the road against Ave Maria (Dec. 1).
At the University of Rochester: Played in 24 games, including four starts as a sophomore…averaged 11 points and 2.8 boards playing 17.8 minutes per game…the Yellowjackets’ leading scorer in seven contests shot .438 (88-201), including a .409 (47-115) clip from beyond the arc…All-University Athletic Association honorable mention…averaged 16.7 minutes in 25 contests as a freshman…turned in double-digit scoring performances in seven contests off the bench…scored a career-high 24 points against Case on Jan. 30, 2009.
Prep: Graduated from Father Lopez Catholic High School in 2008…earned four varsity letters in basketball playing for Coach Eddie Miller…awarded team MVP honors in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons…three-year team captain…
led the Green Wave to a district title as a senior averaged 20 points and nine rebounds per game as a senior…second team All-State selection.
