Biography

As A Junior in 2009: Played in 55 games with 54 starts...started 34 games at first base, 16 as the designated hitter and four in right field...closed out the year with a .330 batting average with 60 hits in 182 at-bats...ranked among the Eagles' top three in slugging percentage (3rd, .484), runs scored (3rd, 37), hits (3rd), RBI (3rd, 36) and homers (3rd, 5)...also tallied three triples...drew 27 walks and was hit by a pitch eight times...had 14 games with two or more hits and was second among all Eagle hitters with nine multiple-RBI games...owned a 10-game hitting streak between Apr. 3 and Apr. 18...batted .333 (12-for-36) with a double, a triple a homer , five walks and nine RBI in nine postseason contests...named The Sun Conference Player of the Week on Mar. 16 after tallying five hits, including two homers and two triples, with five runs and four RBI...perfect at the plate against Missouri Baptist (Mar. 13), going 2-for-2 with two round trippers, three RBI and two walks...only the 20th player in ERAU baseball history to hit two homers in the same game...belted out four hits with a triple, four RBI and two runs scored in the Eagles' postseason win over South Carolina-Beaufort (May 4)...turned in another four-hit performance with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored to help ERAU advance to the NAIA World Series with a win over Auburn-Montgomery (May 14).

As A Sophomore in 2008: Started in 45 of his 48 appearances...shared time between the outfield and as the designated hitter...leads the team among returners in batting average...had 47 hits, hitting .336, with 31 RBI...had a .493 slugging percentage and .395 on-base percentage...had an 11-game hitting streak from Mar. 8 through Mar. 22...hit four home runs...longest home run was over the left field bleachers in the final game of the Eagles season against Oklahoma City at the NAIA World Series (May 27)...went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs against Barry on Mar. 8...marked another 3-for-3 game, with one RBI against Thomas (Ga.) on Apr. 26.

As A Freshman in 2007: Played in 38 games with 21 starts, 14 of which were in left field...showed good power with homers against Florida College (Feb. 3) and Southeastern (Feb. 20)...had an eight-game hitting streak from Mar. 6 to Mar. 21...did not make an error in 18 chances in the field...had four appearances behind the plate and two starts as the designated hitter...2-for-3 with two RBI and a double against Thomas (Feb. 10)

2006: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Chamblee Charter High School where he played for coaches Reggie Ingram and Josh Perry...recipient of the team's Best Defensive Player award in 2003...selected as co-captain for the 2005 season...received the Coach's Award and was an All-Region and a second team All-County selection as a senior.

Personal: Born in Atlanta, Ga. on May 7, 1987...son of Brad Hubbert and Patricia Roper...majoring in Aeronautical Science...father Brad played professional football for three seasons with the San Diego Chargers (1967-70).
