Biography
As a Junior in 2015-16: Became the 29th member of the 1,000-Point Club in the Eagles' win at Florida Tech (Nov. 21)...currently ranks 16th on the all-time scoring list with 1,404 points in 95 career games...second-leading scorer on the team with 16.3 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per contest, while pacing the team with 4.1 assists per game...scored a career-high 32 points in a win at Florida Southern (Feb. 20) a few weeks after scoring 31 at Rollins (Jan. 30)...scored in double-figures in all but three games during the season...dished out a season-high seven assists in two contests while grabbing 10 rebounds at Lynn (Feb. 27)...named to the Daytona Mitsubishi/Kia Shootout All-Tournament Team after averaging 22.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists against Thomas (Dec. 19) and Virginia State (Dec. 20).
As a Sophomore in 2014-15: First team All-Sun Conference selection...NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team honoree…earned Sun Conference All-Defensive Team honors for the second straight season...named the MVP of The Sun Conference Tournament...started in 36 of the team’s 37 games, averaged 15.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals as a sophomore...shot 52 percent from the field, including 47 percent from long range, as well as posting a 72 percent clip from the charity stripe…scored in double-figures in 30 games, including 10 20-point performances...registered a career-high 28 points against Fisher (Nov. 15), draining five three-pointers in the process...dropped 27 points in an overtime road win over St. Thomas (Jan. 14) and again in the title game of The Sun Conference Tournament against Southeastern (March 3)...grabbed double-digit rebounds three tmes and dished out a career-high nine assists against Southeastern in the TSC Tournament championship game...scored 22 points with 10 rebounds in the Eagles’ first round win over Friends at the NAIA National Tournament…named The Sun Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 17.
As a Freshman in 2013-14: Sun Conference Freshman of the Year...Second Team All-Sun Conference performer...Sun Conference All-Defensive Team selection...scored 13.1 points per game as a freshman...averaged 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals for the Blue and Gold...scored 25 points against Thomas (March 1) in The Sun Conference Tournament quarterfinals...pulled down 10 rebounds versus Warner (Jan. 25) and recorded six assists in three games, including versus Southeastern (Feb. 8)...led the Eagles with 14 points, six rebounds and three steals against eventual national runner-up Midland (Neb.) in the NAIA National Tournament first round (March 12).
Prep: Graduated from Father Lopez Catholic High School in the spring of 2012...named the 2012 Daytona Beach News-Journal Boys Basketball Player of the Year, averaging 14.6 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 2.9 apg playing under Head Coach Eddie Miller...played three seasons of basketball at Spruce Creek High School, earning “Best All-Around” Award in 2010 and Daytona Beach News-Journal All-Area Second Team honors in 2010...invited to several prestigous basketball showcases, including the Nike Showcase, Battle of the Rankings and Under Armour Showcase...given Spruce Creek’s MVP Award in 2011...earned first team All-Area honors by the News-Journal as a junior...his 2011 AAU Florida Elite squad captured the USSSA National Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
Personal: Born in Daytona Beach, Florida...son of Jennifer Sisk and Ryan Barnes...cousin Tyler Robbins was a member of the Embry-Riddle baseball team from 2010-13...spent time volunteering with the Port Orange Recreation Department.
