Ridder's Remarks: “Denver has worked really hard in the off-season,” Ridder stated. “His strength and conditioning levels are at the highest they’ve ever been. He’s worked as hard as any player I’ve coached in my 19 years and I think this will be his very best year in the Eagle uniform, because he’s earned it.”
As A Junior in 2007-08: Second team All-Conference selection...averaged 14.9 points in 26.5 minutes per game...joined the 1,000-point club (1,047) with 484 on the year...averaged 2.8 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game...led the league from the free throw line, shooting .892 on the year...third in The Sun Conference in three-point shooting (.393)...was perfect from the charity stripe in 11 games, including a season-high 12-for-12 against Northwood (Feb. 20)...converted on all but two of his first 29 attempts at the free throw line...scored a season-high 24 points, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc in the Eagles’ season opener against College of the Bahamas (Nov. 2)...shot 87.5 percent from the field, including a 4-for-5 clip from the three-point line...earned conference Player of the Week honors on Dec. 5 after averaging 20.0 points (73.1 percent from the floor and 58.3 percent from beyond the three-point arc), 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals...had a season-high eight rebounds in four different contests...dished out six assists in each game against Northwood (Feb. 20), Webber International (Feb. 26) and St. Thomas Jan. 16)...registered a pair of blocks against Warner Southern (Jan. 26).
As a Sophomore in 2006-07: Played in all 33 games and drew 29 starts...scored in double figures in all but six games...averaged 13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game...led the Eagles in free throw percentage (.825), field goal attempts (317), three pointers (93) and three point field goals attempted (223)...second in total points (458)...scored a career-high 25 points in the Eagles' win over Northwood (Jan. 13)...also had 20-point performances against Florida College (Nov. 11), Mary Washington (Dec. 28), Eastern Connecticut State (Jan. 3), Husson (Jan. 5) and Warner Southern (Jan. 30)...hit 6-of-7 three pointers against Mary Washington...named the Bahama House Classic tournament MVP after putting up 20 points, including four three-pointers, four rebounds, two assists and two steals...posted a double-double with a 16-point, 11-board performance against Edward Waters (Feb. 17).
As a Freshman in 2005-06: Appeared in 27 games averaging 3.8 points, 1.1 boards and 1.0 assists...registered a career-high 19 points against Trinity (Fla.) on Nov. 26...also recorded double-figure scoring efforts with 14 against Florida College (Nov. 8), 11 vs. LaGrange on Nov. 30 and 13 against McDaniel on Dec. 28...was never really at 100 percent battling with injuries throughout the season...connected on 15-of-45 from beyond the three-point arc (.333) and shot 41.7 percent from the field (35-for-84)...registered 27 assists.
2004-05: Redshirted
High School: Transferred to Father Lopez his senior year averaging 26.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg and 2.5 spg earning first-team All-State, first-team All-Conference and District 9 Player of the Year...played sophomore and junior seasons at Atlantic HS...posted 13.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.7 spg as a sophomore helping AHS capture the District Championship and advanced to the 4A Elite Eight and collected honorable mention All-State, second-team All-Conference...junior year earned honorable mention All-State and first team All-Area helping Atlantic finish 25-5 and garner a No. 5 ranking in the 4A State poll.
