Biography

RIDDER REFLECTS:
"One of a group of quality seniors, with leadership at the highest level. Being with those guys this year is a lot of fun and a lot of piece of mind. We're doing things the right way and we've got people leading by example. Jared Bender one of our favorite walk-ons of all time. He is pursuing and finishing up his degree in Aeronautical Science, but he is extremely respected and well-liked by his teammates and coaches. A hard-nosed player, great competitor, and continues to get better with his game and we will not be afraid to put him in there to help us in the first half or second half for a minute or two. If those opportunities present themselves, we're not going to hesitate to use Jared. He is competing with a lot of other people, which gives us more depth, but he's just a real pleasure to have in this program."
